WHAT WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR THIS YEAR

Community Connections
Empowering 18 to 25s beyond our walls
For many disabled young adults aged 18 to 25, opportunities that others may take for granted, such as weekends out, evening activities, trying new places or simply being part of community life come with real barriers. Barriers around accessibility, confidence and anxiety, and transport. Barriers around having the right support to take part.
Too often, this can lead to isolation and missed opportunities.
Community Connections is here to change that.
Your support will fund Community Connections, a vibrant new 18 to 25 service from White Lodge supporting young adults with disabilities to access their community, enjoy social opportunities, build confidence and experience meaningful inclusion beyond White Lodge.
We help young adults aged 18 to 25 enjoy weekend and evening clubs, community outings and meaningful social experiences, with trusted support alongside them every step of the way.
This is about far more than activities. It is about building friendships, growing confidence, reducing anxiety, and increasing independence. It ensures young adults aged 18 to 25 feel visible, valued and included in the world around them.
Small in numbers but big in personality, this much-loved group already shows what inclusion looks like in action. With your support, we can help it grow and reach even more young adults who deserve connection, opportunity and belonging.
It costs around £15,000 a year to run this service. That is out target this year.
KOKO will drive Community Connections forward in 2026.
